'97 Kentucky. Lost to Bibby's Arizona team in OT and would've had the 96, 97, 98 three peat.

The 84 UNC team. Brad Daugherty (#1 NBA draft pick), Michael Jordan (#3), Sam Perkins (#4), Kenny Smith (#6), Joe Wolf (#13).

The Fab Five wasn't even the favorite against UNC. UNC was supposed to win that game. And did, narrowly.

I think it's 91 UNLV but 84 UNC was a great answer. I think 85 Gtown was even better, but UNC was staaaaacked.

2008 Memphis was also pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, in terms of win and actual accomplishments, the Fab Five doesn't compare to the Houston teams or 91 UNLV or 99 Duke.

1982 G-town would have CHOKED The Fab Five down. AND The 1983 Houston or Louisville teams would have RUN them into the ground,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

You know its UNLV '91 - and only UNLV - when you're massively favored against Duke...and losing to Duke in the Final Four (a Duke team that went to 3 straight Championship games '90-'92) is considered a monumental upset.

UNLV entered the Final Four 34-0, with a 45 game winning streak.

Jim Boeheim of Syracuse said “If somebody beats them, it’s an accident. I know we can’t.”

“It’s ridiculous,” Pete Gillen of Xavier said. “Nobody will come within 10 points of them in the NCAAs.”
