NBC Sports Boston Talk Belichick's future

Cliffs:

-He's not getting traded. Too many complications in too short of a window for that.

-Many teams are not going to want to bring a guy who can't draft and can't coach up offense if he is also a stubborn a-hole who wants total control.

-Needs to go to a ready-made team like Dallas, but that prob ain't happening.

-Pool of choices is probably dwindling.

-No elegant way to separate from Pats of he still wants to coach. He could making everything ackward and ugly by still trying to coach at 71/72 years old isntead of just going into sunset like Noll, Landry, Shula, etc.

-May need to go do TV for a year and wait for other jobs to open and recharge.NBC has Rodney Harrison and McCourty. CBS is about to clean house with a lot of expiring contracts. Fox has GRONK, Edelman and Brady. May want to join one of those networks for a year.

-Could have many wins still in him, but can't build a team anymore. Also causes friction in a building with his non-relatability and grudge-holding to players and coaches.

What is your beef against Belichick? You’ve peppered the MSB for weeks with anti-Belichick posts.

He's done. His time has passed. Put a fork in him and any team who is foolish enough to hire him.

Who in the hell would want him on TV? He’s got the personality of a Croc that stepped in dog shite.

Landry was fired by jerry Jones. He didn’t give him a chance to retire.

Wrong. People would say the same as saban. His actual insight is incredible when he wants to reveal it. He just doesn’t owe the media shite when he’s coaching the team other than the mandated minimum.

Look at his 8 minute quote on long snappers from earlier in the year.

Landry also didn't go try to get another job, either, though, which Bill is apparently going to try to do.

Landry knew it was over. Bill clearly does not.

Lsu defensive coordinator would’ve been a nice landing spot for Belichick.

I recall him being very insightful and personable on the post game show after they beat the rams in the super bowl a few years back.

I thought Brady getting a stake in the Raiders messed it up?

Landry got canned for his first losing season since his first season with the team. Hardly going out into the sunset.
