Obviously, LSU is not going to be voted out of the SEC. Has there ever been a time in major D1 sports where a program has been kicked out of a conference? Temple is the only program I can recall when they were kicked out of the Big East

quote:

The Big East voted recently to kick Temple out of the conference after 10 failed seasons. Temple has never finished the season higher than second-to-last. When the conference presidents met a few weeks ago, Temple needed two votes to stay in the Big East.

It didn’t get them.

This is like asking a liberal “what a woman is”. Nobody can seem to answer why such grave consequences are being threatened.

That was just the football program right?

Basketball was in the A-10 in those days.

Imagine telling John Chaney “you’re out!”

Penn State had knowledge of a football coach raping kids on campus for decades

Baylor had 20+ Sexual Assault allegations.

And there was never even a threat of them getting booted from the Big10/12

Make of that what you will

Yes.. Louisville, Southern Miss, Tulane, and Southern FL kicked VT and VCU out of the Metro...

So if you ever wonder as a Louisville we have extra hate for you...now you know why...

Easy, Joe Biden… which was an own goal for them because if Trump had won we’d have been done with him two years ago. Instead we have two more years to go

Then that shouldn't really count. Technically sure, but this seems natural for both sides to agree on this one.

And Temple was removed for being abysmal.

I think the bigger question is, has any program been booted from a conference during the season?

Michigan was booted from the Big Ten in 1907 and returned in 1917. Michigan claims they voluntarily left, but they were kicked out.

The intentional misrepresentation of the murder to cover up the impermissible benefits being given to the murdered player isnt great
