Thank you!

Of course I don't fault BeaverPro for following Brec's rules. However, like you said this rule absolutely will impact my decision on where to play if it's later in the day, and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way.

You are an idiot. Go to pelican point at 6:30 and you can play 9. Go to beaver and they ask you to leave. Understand?

Like Golfer said, take your business somewhere else if you don't like being cheated out of 30 mins of play.

If you know the rules of the course when you check in, don't bitch. Take your Pinnacles golf balls and Power-built golf clubs and go play Greystone.

At pelican they can't leave until all carts are back, dark or not. People need to stop being pussies and bitching about having to stay at work late. You're still getting paid while you're there right? Even the girls at the bar can't start closing until the last person leaves. Never turn away paying customers that's horrible business.

The people in this thread act like cart boys are strictly salary.

Turning away paying customers is bad business? At a certain time, it is the smart business decision because it's not worth the revenue for the expenses being put out

Yes but having a cart guy stay late is about $10.

I've never played either or even played golf in Baton Rouge.

I've heard tons of people playing Beaver Creek on here. I've only heard Pelican Point mentioned a few times. If so many have a problem with BC, why do they go there?

I don't have a problem with BC, I just don't see how keeping an employee for an extra hour or so is going to kill you. But like BeaverPro said its a BREC rule not a course specific rule.

Or go to another course.... which is why there is debate about this policy being wise for BC or not

Can't believe no one had mentioned the early morning tee times. BREC also won't let you play as early as most courses. BRECs 9 hole green fee is a pretty goo deal though. Walk and play as late as you want.

I know I had a Wednesday morning off last summer and called Santa Maria to try and get a 6:45 or 7am tee time. They didn't let anyone on until after 8 or 9 iirc.
