That is stupid. The ones who returned their carts the latest tipped the best.

This is why you pay a reduced rate for "twilight" because there is a chance you wont get 18 holes in.

Course I worked at there was always some arse hole member who decided he wanted to squeeze in 9 holes at 7:15 and would stay out there until it was literally too dark to see anything. Hated that crap, and it's losing the course money bc the member isn't paying anything and they still have to pay us

Heard this story from a cart boy at Uclub when i worked there. Super bowl sunday a few years ago Matt Fylnn was playing by himself and stayed on the course until 830 because he didn't want to watch the game.

Would have been pitch black out. Sun sets at like 5:45. So I'm calling BS

It will lead To less revenue. Less people will come play if they can't get 18 in. They will go to non BREC courses. In my opinion, it's a bad policy.

This. I didn't know about this and I'm glad I do now. Going to avoid the BREC courses when I want to get 18 in teeing off after 3:30.

I don't fault BP for following the rules, but BREC needs to at least change this for BC since Santa Maria is allowed to bend the rules.

I'm also confused why BREC put lights on the range at BC if everyone has to be off the premises by dusk?

I don't like the policy. There is a good 30 minutes of usable light after official sunset. So you are really restricting 1 hour of golf time by having this in effect. Like golfer says, I will keep this in mind if looking around for an afternoon round that would finish close to sunset.

The cart boys have no reason to complain. Nobody is working from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It's called shifts. If you can't work late, find another job.

Lots of golfers have regular jobs and family obligations and can't get out to the course before the afternoon. As a business, I would think shutting those people out is a bad idea.

If a guy walks in a nightclub/bar at 1:40 AM, what do you tell him?
