i read somewhere that its going to be just south of soldier field? looking at a map and i'm not seeing anywhere they can build it.

why not just renovate soldier field again. its the perfect location smack dab in the middle of the city center

There’s a massive parking deck where they are looking at putting it.

I fail to understand why people complain about comfortable environments

It’s idiotic Yankees trying to prove they have a set of nuts even though they couldn’t handle the South until A/C became prevalent. Football should be decided by the players on the field, not who handles shitty weather better. If you are building a new NFL stadium, you want to host at least 1 Super Bowl when doing so and the only way you are doing that as a team north of the Mason-Dixon is with a roof on your stadium (MetLife was a unique situation because of the New York factor).

That said, they should have gone to Arlington Heights. Downtown Chicago is shite.

I wonder if this is the same parcel of land the White Sox were looking at or just nearby.

This is a true shame, just like all the other domes. Terrible.

If you put a stadium there then you have no parking. It’ll be a nightmare logistically

Because football is meant to be played outdoors on real grass.

The location might be perfect geographically but it is logistically a mess and very difficult to get to

I thought Soldier Field was on the National Register of Historic Places. If so it won't be torn down. I could be mistaken though.
