I'll pass to pay for seats when I'd have to sit behind 10 giant flags that cover the whole court, or having the stadium burn down because of a flair.

Cool atmosphere for dudes that just want to sing the entire time.

How are they allowed to light flares in a basketball arena?

It’s cool to see that true fans over there can afford great seats. Look at who sits in lower levels at NBA games, particularly front rows. Those guys (and girls) want to flaunt money and get on tv. There’s not enough die hard fans to create that atmosphere in the US.

That looks like a roit.

In one of the clips they are waving giant Raspberry Pi flag.

Random.

No thanks. Euros can keep treating the stadium experience of fine sport of basketball like soccer, and I'll take USA atmosphere 101 days out of 100.

We could learn a lesson from those euros, standing during a game is not something that should be bitched about.

I've lived in Europe.

Nah. It's only better if you like racist, dangerous crowds a heartbeat away from actually rioting.

Hard pass.

a lot of those crazy basketball crowds in Europe, particularly the club teams with huge football followings in Turkey, the Balkans, etc are full of lunatic, racist, xenophobes who use the basketball setting to shout their crazy, whacked out beliefs at other clubs who are also full of lunatic racists.

They aren't there to cheer for their basketball teams in friendly competition

Maybe I’m getting old, but I’ll happily take our atmospheres for basketball over that.I’m not trying to spend a Tuesday night pretending I’m about to enter war
