He's being honest...and he called it a stigma.
I think everyone has that kind of bias. Bird is famous for getting mad when a team tried to guard him with a white guy. Fans assume the white player on their opponent isn't as good.
It's a stereotype.

Can we all just be smart enough in this conversation to not consider color according to country? Otherwise, that simply makes the Greek Freek a black man, and Luka and the Joker are caucasian. Which they are.
Last season, the debate was, what has happened to black players in MLB? Nothing, if you are willing to call Black people Black Spanish people too. Why Black American guys aren't playing baseball as they once did is a different conversation. The same is true for the Larry Birds of the NBA. Hopefully, Reaves has that much figured out.
