Why couldn’t you announce Julio, and have STL load up their lineup with lefties. Have Julio pitch one pitch. And replace him with keuchel?

not a bad idea. Let Julio go until he gives up a hit. And then watch him throw a no hitter.

Brewers did that to Dodgers in the NLCS last year, but Dodgers would go extremely lefty heavy against righties and extremely righty heavy against lefties. Only platoon Cardinals have employed this series is Bader/Carpenter and even Bader started G2 against Folty.

Has Julio been announced Sun God? Or is that the speculation at the moment?

Seems like it was the latter. My bad

We need to close it out tomorrow. As well as Folty pitched game 2, another round of him vs. Flaherty in a must win game doesn't give the warm fuzzies.

Dallas has pitched well on short rest in the past. Time for the bats to get rolling and wrap this thing up.

A lot of Cards fans around us were not too happy when the chop broke out in the 9th.

The Atlanta Braves are promising to continue their dialogue with the Native American community in the wake of St. Louis Cardinals reliever Ryan Helsley's criticism of the tomahawk chop chant.

Helsley told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch he thinks the chant is insulting, and the 25-year-old rookie was disappointed when it was heard during Game 1 of the National League Division Series in Atlanta.

Helsley is a member of the Cherokee Nation. The Tahlequah, Oklahoma, native speaks the Cherokee language and is one of only a few Native Americans in the majors.
The Braves say they "appreciate and take seriously" Helsley's concerns. The team says it has "worked to honor and respect the Native American community through the years."

"Our organization has sought to embrace all people and highlight the many cultures in Braves Country," the team said Saturday in a statement. "We will continue to evaluate how we activate elements of our brand, as well as the in-game experience, and look forward to a continued dialogue with those in the Native American community once the season comes to an end."

Well Snit pulled him after 74 pitches in Game 1, so that should bode well for his availability in Game 4.

Agree. But Folty was under 90 pitches and Flaherty threw 120

My answer to that question, as presented on page 29 of this thread:
