And where’s Ynoa at? He was our ace the 1st half a few years ago. That was an injury and the sticky stuff removed, though.

He had Tommy John but should be good to go by spring, I think. I assume he'll be in the mix for that #5 spot but also may be a candidate to be a multi-inning guy out of the pen.

I do think there were sticky stuff concerns with him.

He was having such a wonderful day and cared so little about what Broski said that he had to stop what he was doing to log onto tigerdroppings dot com to tell Broski how much he didn’t care.

Why?

Because who the 5th starter is really doesn't matter.

I'd rather keep him strictly as a reliever because we really need the help in the pen.

Tbf if you took out the posts that were just emojis or saying "Jesus Christ" it would cut that number down by 75%

Not convinced he's not an AI bot.

The variance between his K and BB

I'm sure that'll be fun for fans.

Ynoa and Matzek have some weird parallels if you look at their stats over time, injury history, etc.

I don’t get that. Every GM has to work within a budget.

Here's a follow-up tweet from Toscano:

Seen strong reactions, so wanted to offer clarity: Every team is working to build the best roster within the payroll figure from up top. Moves in November are part of an offseason plan/vision. Kyle wasn’t saying the Braves won’t spend big. He just wasn’t part of their plan.

Next year's FA class for SP is pretty good. More reason to not get our hopes up on a top end starter this year. AA will have to go after one once Fried walks.

We are in a window now. Kicking the can down the road as a fan makes no sense, its not our money. They need to spend and get someone.

We're not broke, but we definitely don't have the money to be a major FA player, which could be a problem in the coming years as contracts end and our barren farm won't have the horses to replace those leaving or work a trade to fill an immediate hole.

2022-2026 is our window with next season probably being our most optimal year to win a title considering it'll be Fried's last year here.
