Irvin and in the end he makes it about him and takes away from the players.

Archie Manning whenever Eli or Peyton were playing.

Of course, they sure did show Cooper Manning an awful lot yesterday but it was nothing compared to how they used to show Archie.

I hate how ESPN rarely does crowd shots

Remember the good ole days of CBS / SEC and how they'd show students (gorgeous females) regularly for like 5 seconds after a big play?

Swift. They just gagaed over her.

At least Michael played and is supporting his team.

Monday Night Football camera crews in the 70s were the best at scoping out talent.

Any game with Brent Musberger calling the action had crews on the hunt, too.

Unlike the others Archie tried to not be seen. He'd pull a hat down with glasses and headphones on sitting in general pop.

I watched an ESPN Classic a few years back of what I assume was a 1970's game of AL vs USC in LA. Bear Bryant was smoking on the sidelines. Camera crew followed a hot blonde from concession stand to her seat with Kieth Jackson commenting the whole way. It was glorious!

Tennessee on CBS from 1997-2003.

They seemed to have been on CBS almost every Saturday.
