Since you appear to be incapable of providing context, I will do it for you. The current streak is actually only at 6. They won 11 in a row before that stretch you mentioned. They’re 41-19 against teams with a winning record and have a 5 1/2-game lead in the AL West.

And, yes, because I’m not intellectually dishonest like you’re being, I’ll throw you a bone and point out they lost 2 of 3 to the Yankees in New York in May and, yes, they have a losing record against teams with losing records. Funny what a senile manager who was never good at making in-game decisions and a shaky bullpen can do sometimes. Baseball teams also have natural ebbs and flows in a season. You must be new to this sport (I know you’re not but if you want to play dumb, I’ll treat you like you’re dumb).

So caught up jn the Astros cheating which I did not mention, not have I mentioned for years. It's just sad that is the typical response. There is no "context" the Astros have had a few nice streaks but losing to bottom tier teams, teams they should be dominating is perplexing. But alas go back to Yankees and "cheating" because it is your typical response.

This thread is about them being on fire and you don’t mention that. You mention a hiccup that ended almost a week ago. Yes, it’s perplexing why they struggled against Baltimore and Detroit (and in series against Texas and Colorado, for that matter). They also have a 5 1/2-game lead in their division after taking the first 2 of a 3-game series against their closest division competition.

Again, ebbs and flows but overall a team that has probably the best record in baseball over the last month (too lazy to look it up and I don’t really care if they are or aren’t).

You want to bring something up, fine, put it in the proper context of the thread. Or you can continue to be a butthurt Yankees fan. I don’t give a shite.
