personally I've always sided with Charles Barkley on the role model business, but there are plenty of people in sports are the positive examples or good people, just no one that is perfect. It is a shame to that you let faux internet outrage and SJW's taint your vision.

Most of what people see from athletes is an act. They're all just normal people gifted with physical talent. Just enjoy the show. We don't need them to be good people.

Athletes are role models. Maybe they shouldn't be but they are wether you like it or not.

If you mean no smudges, there is not anyone.

Otherwise there are lots.

The story is not over and it could turn for the worse, but Tyrann Mathieu one.

Someone who was far from perfect, and nearly threw away a tremendous gift. Now someone kids can look to and admire for getting help and rising from the mud. That is a role model.
