Those recruiting classes and that offense! If we had held on to Jimbo we'd be #1 right now.

In the long run, LSU probably was right in not promoting Fisher, Muschamp, Dooley, etc. There seasoning as assistants and waiting a little while longer will make them more successful in the long run.

I'm still not sold on Pelini as a head coach either.

Yes. If FSU continues to recruit the way it has the last couple of years.

Yep. And add in the fact that the U is all but done and it appears that FSU will continue to get top recruits out of Florida.

Jimbo is recruiting very well. FSU played well enough to win v OU and may have if EJ had not been knocked out.

The Clemson game they took a step back but again were without EJ Manuel.

He will do well there and I realize there are some here who did not like his play calling at times but he could always recruit and develop QBs

We have the best coach out of the group and this continues to be proven with w/l's and most everything else. However, in Jimbo's defense, his son's illness this year has to be a major drain. I think Musc and Dooley are and will be fine head coaches, but not win like Les has

Yeah. I always thought they were a yr and another recruiting class away from really being national contenders.

Hate to say it but Jimbo was a good hire. Worst case - he leaves the cupboard stacked for the next guy to make a run.

I like the guy as a coach. He knows how to recruit and his teams seem to be well prepared ... as long as he's not calling the plays.

I'll buy that he is a good coach, but I'm not into thinking he can turn a program into a tier 1 program over night.
