I'm a diehard Buckeye fan but if Purdue wins and it gives that kid some joy I'm fine with the loss. Team Tyler.

Makes you greatful for what you have in life. Also I always view them as positive and uplifting stories of fight and community rallying behind someone during their worst times.

Those stories don't ruin shite. It makes me realize how blessed I've been so far and how the problems in my life that I get upset about really don't mean shite in the grand scheme of things

Yep agreed. I get the sense of that in the OP (don't think it was an a-hole comment). Because there are others that have ripped the Rinaldi segments as "PC" or "sob story BS" on other threads.
As for them, I don't have an issue with them. There were a few that got to me, but those stories are what's good in CFB given all the stuff with arrests/NCAA violations/other negative news.

I think I've said it before, but if there was ever a person who has an excuse for swallowing a bottle full of antidepressants every day, it is Rinaldi. I'm not sure I could handle doing those tough stories every single week

After a while, I tune it out. There’s enough awful stories out there that I don’t need to watch during a football show. I went and swapped out laundry when that last segment started.

Consigning both of y'all. Got gameday on in the living room while I'm rolling around on the floor playing with Quattro but during that segment I just sat and held him. Makes me thankful as hell for the good things in life. I don't deserve any of it.
