I'm making a trip to Chicago and I'm planning to make a game at Wrigley. Has anyone been to this stadium before and can give some insight. What's the best section? I've heard the outfield is a blast. Thoughts?

This should help, especially with obstructed view seats. I've been twice and sat third base line both time. Really want to do the bleachers.

Cubs are probably the third most represented on the board after the Astros and Braves.

bleachers can be fun. hard to watch game, lots going on. i'd get regular seats, personally. on weekends when they were doing well you used to have to show up an hour before or risk not getting a seat. might be different now with expansion. with all the new stuff coming in the vibe of the place has been changing, good time to visit before it changes too much

There's a healthy chunk of Rangers fans here, too.

For sure.

Just get there early. You will want to walk around before and get in early if you've never seen it. The bleachers are great but those are some territorial fricks out there sometimes.

Yea, the optimistic nature of cubs fans probably means there won't be any around right before a team, that on paper, lines up to be one for the ages.

There, you got a bite. We good to carry on now?

As for the question, good advice from most. I don't share the opinion that it's a lot going on in the bleachers. I mean if you're in the back just there to get hammered then maybe, otherwise it's just a more lively crowd enjoying a game.

Only additional advice I have is if you're a guy who likes to get there early to catch BP, make sure you're checking the cubs beat writers regularly because under maddon they take a whole lot less BP.

I had one day of "Good seats" and one day of bleachers. Bleachers are a blast. Just get there early enough bc it is first come for the best seats.

I decided against the bleachers. It just doesn't seem like my thing and I'm pretty sure my wife would hate it. We're in section 115, 111, 112, 131, 233 and 411. Those are all good except 233. It could be behind a pole.
