Brown gonna be pissed when Carr isn’t looking his way just like he was doing to Coop.

Gonna be fun going 5-11 the next three seasons.

In a league where younger, cheaper players has become the trend, Oakland gets older and more expensive, all while still being bad and after letting Mack walk because, from what I heard, they couldn't afford to pay him his upfront signing bonus cash.

I fully expect gruden to try to lure 50 year old Kurt Warner out of retirement at this point and trade Carr for a 3rd round pick.

Yeah, looks pretty dumb. Enjoy the locker room implosion as well.

id want to wait on what the new deal looks like but getting AB for only a 3rd and 5th is amazing in a vacuum

Amazing? He’ll be 31 years old by opening day and the Raiders just guaranteed him an ADDITIONAL $30 million. Oh, and he has openly admitted he cares far more about his numbers than winning.

The Raiders got him for a 3rd and a 5th because nobody wanted to touch that with a 10 foot pole.

and i dont see why this is a bad thing. teams didnt want him because they are turned off by his attitude. fine, whatever. doesnt change the fact that hes an elite talent and the raiders didnt have to give him more years which is the main thing here

You don’t win championships in the modern NFL by paying 31 year old malcontent receivers $20 million per year.

The Raiders don’t really improve at all with this deal. Receiver is one of the three least valuable positions in the NFL.

RB
WR
Box safety

Assuming we aren’t considering the nearly extinct fullback, the above three positions are the least relevant in the modern NFL. If you have a good QB, your receivers will be adequate. If you don’t have a good QB, it doesn’t really matter how good your receivers are.
