He will be a combine Tarzan. But he looked like Jane a lot at Florida. Maybe it’s just me.

The testing company certainly want you to think so. They don't want the public impression to be their data/results are that easily exposed.

His biggest issue is that he can’t throw a three yard out.

or to a team that has bad offensive line play.

A lot of QB's got hurt last year and a lot of point totals went under on bets.

Whether it was O-linemen getting hurt or just getting worked by D-linemen, that seemed to be a theme to me.

I don't know if that is going to go away either.

The collective bargaining agreement limits O-linemen the most in my opinion. Maybe last year was just an anomaly but I'm so sure.

On one hand, Anthony Richardson reminds me of how I felt about Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts going into the NFL and they have been more successful than I anticipated. On the other hand, Jackson and Hurts were significantly better college quarterbacks with a ton of playing experience under their belts going into the NFL.

I think it is possible that Richardson COULD be a good quarterback, but he absolutely has to go to the right team. Jackson and Hurts benefited tremendously from being drafted by good organizations later than where Richardson is projected (Jackson at 32 to the Ravens and Hurts at the end of the second round by the Eagles). If he goes somewhere like Vegas, he will absolutely be a bust.

If they throw him to the wolves and try yo start him opening game would be a huge mistake. He needs to go somewhere and sit for at least a year. But some stupid GM is goons go on flat potential and draft him early.

can’t for any reason see him as anything other than a day 3 pick. His QB awareness is atrocious.

What were your thoughts on Lamar and Hurts? Same?

This is a sad thread. Just running down the guy for no reason. According to everything I have seen, he is a great guy and super charming. Very bright and has aced every interview. All that on top of freakish athleticism and measurables. It's not just one or two organizations that want him. He's not getting out of the top 10. So he's not a reach.

Every college player would be best off going to an organization with no pressure to play right away and the best system catered to his talents. That isn't a ground breaking theory, it's pretty common knowledge..

Depends on where he ends up. Seattle or Detroit would be great spots for him. He could sit for a year or two and develop. If he ends up on the Texans, he'll be a bust.

No QB’s in this draft will be worth a shite. Stoud is a maybe. If you have a high pick trade that shite

Mullen also did a lousy job with him in 2021 in his first real experience starting.

Giving him his first career start against that 2021 Georgia defense was coaching malpractice. Not the front seven you want to throw someone into the fire against.

He will slide. They always do.
Remember when Sam Howell was a first rounder?

Hurts and Jackson were winners in college. Jackson won the freaking Heisman on a mediocre Louisville team. Hurts won a Natty. Jackson in particular, but both, have better accuracy than Richardson. Richardson could not elevate the play of Florida during his time there.

If he’s put into a situation where he really can sit and gets coached up he has a chance. The issue is if you draft someone to 5 you don’t wait.

His biggest issue is he’s wildly inaccurate.
