I think this is just an excuse to transfer, this isn’t the the same 1960’s Longhorns, he must have just watched the Express.

Don't know anything about their depth, but it seems like he got passed up and wants to transfer. Justin Fields approves of his message.

Are any of the current LSU players speaking out?
I haven't seen anything yet.

Strange times.

LSU has been proactive in supporting their players of color. I think you can’t overlook the bond O forms with these kids dating back to their recruitment. Branching off to Ponamsky & several great allies in the recruiting/ops department like Sharon Lewis, Keava Soil-Cormier, & Olivia ohlsen

These athletes are going to get triggered and feel threatened just so they can transfer w/o sitting out a year, a la Justin Fields.

It is ironic that he would invoke the city of Austin's name in all this. I agree that most of the people living there, outside of students, only care about football from an economic standpoint; but to say they wouldn't care about social injustice would be odd. Austin is probably the most liberal city in Texas; so I'm pretty sure most there would side with the changes the players are wanting.

Now the fan-base and alumni of UT are probably a different story.

Doesn't matter 13 players tested positive today for Texas. There will not be a football season

Somebody's got to start pulling scholarships. Go play for an HBCU. Bye. There are plenty of kids that want to play big time D1 football and would be grateful for all of the benefits that come with it.

It's clearly become a toxic environment in Austin and those kids are not focused on football. It's going to show in September.

I hope LSU can continue to avoid this nonsense.
