Pac 12 will definitely think they're too good for Texas Tech and I'm sure Cal and the like won't be in favor of adding private Christian universities.

None of those schools fit the pac12 culture
I dont see it happening unless the pac12 is super desperate

I feel like 2 parents with kids just got divorced and are about to both get remarried and split the kids up. The SEC feels like we're getting new teenage step siblings and mom and dad just told us we're gonna have to start sharing a room

PAC-12 would reach out to Oklahoma State and TCU.
SEC will pick up OU and TU.
ACC will pick up WVU and Catholics.
Big 10 will pick up Kansas for sure and probably Iowa State*.
PAC 12 will pick up Cowboys* and maybe TCU.
I could see a scenario where Big Ten gets Kansas and Missouri and we have Texas and both Oklahoma schools join. If that happens, then the PAC 12 would get left behind honestly.
Let’s say my second scenario happens. The Big 12 would have Iowa State, Kansas State, Baylor, TTU, and TCU needing a home. The AAC could absorb all 5 by moving Navy, Memphis and Tulane to the Eastern Division and adding the teams listed above to the Western Division.
You would have 3 P3 conferences, the Pac-12 and AAC sorting themselves out, and then the Fun Belt/CUSA/MAC/MWC doing their own thing.
The PAC-12 would be fricked in this because the 4 schools that would fit “naturally” (New Mexico, UNLV, Boise State, and Hawaii) are anything but fits. Plus that travel.

why now? ACC has passed on WVU multiple times, and now are in a stronger position then ever.

Missouri was told no by the BIG the first time around. They aren't going anywhere.

Pac12 stated unequivocally last time around with expansion talks.
1) You have to be a major research institution.
2) You can't have any religious affiliation or identity.

Pac 12 is going to get left in the dust because of weird hard lines on religion and politics

That was a long time ago. PAC 12 would happily take TCU in this scenario today I bet

TCU has a chance because of the DFW TV market!

Culture doesn’t matter anymore. What matters is TV money. People need to wake up and realize college football as we knew it from our childhoods is dead.
