Poor Cardinal fans. Going from hoping for the 1-2 picks to like 6 and 9

Yeah, they're too well coached compared to others. But the QB class is stacked so we'll see what happens

It's a joke but everyone assumed they were all out tanking for Williams. They clearly cannot reach the depths of the Bears disaster or Payton's Hits of the 70's because they are too good.

Payton is 100% regretting this decision

Nah, he was just willing to pay this price to get out of NO.

Pay what price? He didn’t have to coach this year.

Payton is a guy who might have just landed in the perfect situation with HOF QB Brees in his prime and a pretty nicely stacked roster.
With a depleted Broncos roster and over the hill Wilson he might end up ruining his legacy as a coaching savant the same way Gruden did when he finally got coaxed out of retirement.

The 2005 Saints was far from a stacked roster.

Payton created national headlines last week, telling USA Today that Hackett's 15-game run with the Broncos last season was "one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL" and that there were "20 dirty hands" around quarterback Russell Wilson.

Sometimes it pays to keep your damn mouth shut you narcissistic a-hole. Couldn't happen to a better cocky, arrogant POS.

Don’t forget about the Panthers and their elite Bama Heisman QB…. It will be battle for first pick next weekend with Vikings @ Panthers, except Carolina traded theirs to Chicago (I hate being a panthers fan….).

Brother, the Saints were 3-13 when Payton took over as HC and Drew Brees’ body of work was mediocre at best to that point in his career.

Let’s not act like he wasn’t the best coach in NO Saints history by a long shot.

He and Brees meshed perfectly just like BB and Brady.

Pay the price of ending up anywhere other than NO, obviously he was going to end up rebuilding something.

Furthermore, you guys act like these people aren't humans. Getting paid a lot of money in Denver > a lot of money in New Orleans.

Game outcomes are secondary.

The Vikings are not going to be contending for the top pick, their close game luck has just worn out, they are not any worse than last year

3-13, but coming off multiple seasons of .500 or better ball and that was the Katrina season where they were the visiting team pretty much every week that season.

Not a great team, but not as bad as their record given the total clusterfrick the franchise and the area were at that time.
