I love how Democrats were saying Trump supporters should read the room regarding wearing MAGA hats in Portland, Seattle, etc (a guy wearing MAGA gear was literally murdered by Antifa in Portland) but when it comes to gay pride in the Middle East it’s (D)ifferent.

I wish I remembered who first said this so I could accredit them properly, but the major difference between the two is that Christianity has a messianic figure (Christ) Who freed us all from the legalism found in the Tora.
Islam doesn’t have anyone like that. Muhammad was a profit who basically affirmed all of the often barbaric legalism of Islam, which is why it’s more attractive to violent extremists.
