He’s knocked off the chiefs and bills in his last two, playing for .500 this week

But hey maybe the media can keep defending poor ol Hackett for Payton rightfully calling the guy a shite coach.

You can see they’re definitely A LOT more organized and Russ playing more within the confines of a game plan.

Did we watch the same game? I don’t even like Russ but his scrambling and pocket play made a huge impact in the game. Bills had 4 sacks and easily could’ve had a lot more if it weren’t for him extending the play and making something happen.

Apparently we didnt. He is okay, but he is not close to what he used to be. He is an average nfl qb now.

And payton is getting the most out of him

The overreactions early in the season were stupid but they just won because of DPI and then 12 men on the field on a missed FG. Ironic they won on penalties since it was Vinovich and crew

Payton’s teams always played hard because he was great coach and motivator, it’s what the saints brass clearly didn’t understand when they promoted Dennis.

Decent coaching with the shite schedule we’ve played would easily have the saints well above their current record

He's won two games in a row because the other team has turned the ball over nine times in those two games and if he was playing against a team with a special teams coach who can count he would be 1-1 in those games. My God the recentcy bias here is amazing.

Give me a shout back when he makes the playoffs Ace. They won’t make the playoffs this year.

Dude is legit. I definitely said negative things about him his last few years in NO, but in hindsight he needed to recharge his batteries. Happy for him and surprised to find myself rooting for him. Great coach.

The majority of the haters are just salty Saints fans.
