I challenge you to Post the combined winning %s of the squads each player has had clutch minutes against.

Boom is so worried Harden won’t win mvp lol
He's clearly an MVP type player and in tier 1 of his peers and basketball players in this era. He'll win an MVP and will deserve it when he does.

It doesn't matter who it comes against.
You always argue that Lebron is scared of the West while he literally destroys the warriors every year.
You don't care about his stats agaisnt the warriors.
So I don't care about the competition in his clutch moments this year.
I also don't care about clutch moments, for the most part. So idk how you lured me into making this post
ETA: My man, show me one time I've ever argued the Lebron is better and attributed it to his clutchness lol

It really is incredible what Lebron is doing at his age still. And is even more incredible how healthy he has been his whole career, and playing at such insane mins. For someone his size to go so hard night end and night out for 15yrs straight is just insane. Everyone takes him for granted because what he does is now the norm for him, he will not be really appreciated until he is gone.

Was mostly posting to other guy. Sorry Lebron don’t get credit for beating up on the crappiest teams in the league late in games while harden is beating the same teams so bad that there are no clutch minutes.

That's why you won't see me using that shite in a debate

He might be the greatest leader this league has ever seen.
Instead of showing his arse because teammates aren't as good as him or don't care as much as him(which retards praise Kobe and MJ for), Lebron changes his own game to get everything out of teammates.
There is ZERO doubt in my mind, that if a draft of every player ever were to occur, and this draft was replicated in every single era ever, with every single GM ever...
Lebron James would be the first pick.
You aren't gonna get any argument from me about that, I've always maintained that, in the history of professional basketball, the greatest LEADERS that accurately represent the term's definition are Russell, Larry Bird, Magic, Isiah and LeGOAT. It's so evident and obvious when you watched them play and interact with their teammates as well as setting the tone, and they were team-first guys: they weren't about the gaudy numbers and being maniacal assholes it was all about "how do WE win this game and championship?" and they did it consistently basically throughout their entire careers.

quote:I can't find the exact minute by minute data, but Lebron recorded 95 FGAs, RBs, and ASTs in the last 5 minutes or overtime according to basketball reference.
Lebron playing clutch time minutes v the dregs of the league. Terrible teams. Only teams keeping it close with harden are average at worst. Same line of thinking for why players stats are worse in the playoffs. The competition is better.
Kings
Hawks
Nets
Mavs
Etc
Etc
Harden is already on the bench and Houston has emptied the bench v those kinda teams.
If you take the percentage of those events and multiply by the net ratings adjusted according to basketball reference and sum them all up, then Lebron played against teams with an average net rating of -0.73 in the clutch, a little worse than average.
Below are the data I quickly pulled.

I don’t like Lebron whatsoever but he’s unbelievably good at basketball. The only knock against him for the first half of his career was that he was an average three point shooter. He became a solid shooter at Miami and now he’s a great shooter. It’s just unfair at this point.
Was never a lebron-defender myself, but you have to appreciate his game. There won't be another LeBron for a long time. Giannis was the guy who could be, but he's still far from a facilitator or defender that LeBron is.
If you look at LeBron today and ask, "what is the weakest part of his game" you'd probably say free throws. Even there he's improved compared to his previous years.
He's a better rebounder than players his size/height
He's a better point than most players
He's a better finisher at the rim than most players
He's a better shooter thus far into the season
He's a better defender than most players
He truly has no "weakness"

A little better than expected, but nothing I would say is surprising at this point in the season.

He's a top 5 player of all time and his ability to stay healthy is second to none in probably the history of the game.
He has done a better job of not playing every game throughout his career, which has extended it. He doesn't ever get the wear and tear on his body.
Guys in the 90s played every day, so they didn't ever take time to recover (I'm not saying one way or the other is right, but I think there are stats saying Jordan only played less than 80 games like 3 times in his career and Lebron has only played 80 like 3 years not exact but somethign like that)
