Hoston beating teams so bad they went over a month without one single clutch possession. So while impressive like Russ last year, it not a good stat to use when other players don’t even require clutch possession bc the game is over with by that time of the game.

One player has the benefit of playing with a top 10 player.

The other player is LeBron wrecking teams virtually single handedly

HOU with James off the court is only a smidgeon better than CLE is with Lebron off the court. A smidgeon. The difference in the teams is how good Houston is when harden is on the court with no CP V how good CLE is when Lebron is on the court with all his weapons. It’s a bloodbath. No comparison.

Sample size is still too small for you to try that mess bro. We're still not even a third of the way thru the season.

We only taking about what has happened from the time the season started til now.

and didn’t you bring up Paul. He been with the squad for about 10% of the season but that didn’t stop you from hastily including him in your weak analysis.

Try 44% bubba.

Hell take Paul out.

Gordon, ariza, Capela, Anderson

Vs Love, Thompson, green, dwade

Who has the better supporting cast?

He thinks he can get away with bullshite like saying Chris has only played 10% of the games. It's pathetic.

Of those supporting casts Hardens is better. And it’s bc of harden. Lebron has solid players though. Like Jae crowder. Playing with Lebron is giving him nearly his worse career season tho j/s

Top 5 offensive player all time according to David Locke. Highly recommend his pod released today FWIW.

10% of the entire season clown.

Like the 33% you mentioned.

You are the least formidable debater here. You need to step it up Tbt.

but you literally just said we're only talking about the time of the season til now bubba

so he was just referencing 44% of the season like you asked

He said 1/3 of the season was too small

Paul has played in about 1/10 of the season

But yet he include harden playing with Paul as the reason why CC is so much better.

If 1/3 is too small of a sample size why is he bringing up a sample size 3x smaller?

It's crazy how he just keeps building new facets to his game. Assuming he can stay over 38% from 3 point land, he could play in his 40s as a stretch 4.

CP3 is putting up near identical numbers to his time in LAC. Only PPG is down due to less FGA

EG is putting up comparable numbers to his time in NO. Only PPG is up due to more FGA. His 3pt shooting is down too, I guess that's due to Harden

Anderson is putting up slightly more efficient shooting numbers than his NO-preinjury.

or the system. Harden's numbers are up too...hmm

lol Jae Crowder regressing to the norm shooting is on LeBron. I mean shooters who excel one year of 6 tend to regress.

I'd say having to play with 3 shitty defenders instead of just 1 is a huge change.

He went from a high IQ defensive team with IT being the sole poor defender due to size to being the 2nd best defender on the court at any given time and the dropoff after him is drastic.

1/3 of the season is too small of a sample size to see how things hold up. everyone's numbers regressed after the rapid start last year too.

Well you do post all of those "since CP3 has been back, houston's offense has been phenomenal at a billion ortg". So thats fair to say CP3 has been HUGE.

quote:

If 1/3 is too small of a sample size why is he bringing up a sample size 3x smaller?

or he's just referencing the fact that this far into the season, CP3 being a part of 44% of the houston rocket games and how their offense is phenomenal right now is a huge reason why they're so phenomenal.

Harden's case for the MVP, right now, may be strong as it's ever been, and it's not just the counting stats — or his 26-point, 17-assist, 6-steal outing on Monday night — that give him the nod over the field. Wrong.

LeBron is #1 in PER and he and Harden are tied in W/S at 6.3. Harden has the edge in WS/48 though. LeBron leads in VORP and Harden leads in Box +/-.
