For those interested, it gives you a good look at two of our current football player.
Tygee Hill and Aaron Anderson.
Hill will be a great leader and teammate. Anderson is an incredible athlete with a rough past.
Edna Karr coaching staff seems pretty awesome and we will likely get a lot of players out of there. They speak highly of LSU

No matter what they are paying him, he’s underpaid. He’s a helluva coach and so much more. His staff is great too.

Just a heads up, if you watch the documentary, I understand, but Hulu straight up stole it. Guy wrote a book Across the River: Life, Death, and Football in an American City by Kent Babb. Really good. Hulu took his book, used THE EXACT SAME CONTACTS THAT WERE QUOTED IN HIS BOOK, and created a Hulu series. Didn't even give the guy credit. Pretty fd up.

Agreed. If all that is true (and I have no reason to doubt you) then this guy needs to sue. It should be easy to prove.

I just figured the documentary and book were connected. The book is great but it took the documentary for me to really appreciate the coaches, especially Brown. I felt like the author was over-exaggerating things in the book.

Not sure if it was done for the documentary or not but one thing I noticed is that the coaches had those boys practicing well into the dark. Did their best to keep them off the streets.
It was a good show. They do have a nice school compared to the old one.
What ever happened to the Sophmore QB of when it was filmed. Did he ever commit to a school. I know he wasn't the biggest in regards to height as a QB.

Don Wattigny made Karr into what they are. Brown is one of his proteges.

All I know is the commercial coming on during our baseball games is a pretty embarrassing reflection of our state
