Rhynos' "15 year astros rebuild"....classic line for the lastros !!! With the way that club handles all their last place/high draft choice opportunities, I can actually see a 15 year rebuild..lmao !
Ahh those horrible draft choices...

I think this offense is pretty locked in right now especially the two at the top. If somehow either Tuve or Springer are able to get on base in the first id love to see Hinch run early to make the Yanks as uncomfortable as possible.
I'm very excited and very nervous. I think Keuchel is the definition of a gamer but the rest has me worried a little bit. He's going to have to at least get the team to the 7th so they can go some form of Sipp, Harris, Greg Bc outside of that I have no faith in anyone in the bullpen getting big outs.
Also my obvious key to the game is don't be trailing by the 8th inning Bc it will basically be lights out

Nothing beats ending the Yankees season in the Bronx.

Superfan Ryno there being a bit discourteous, if I want to be nice about it.
But I'm not nice about it, he's been a tool until th starting winning then acted like nothing happenrd.

This is the DAT... if you want a Yankee logo, create your own thread.

That's not entirely true. I mean, sure, he's been a tool and all. But he was adamant the Astros would win the division the week before the season started.

Man it feels great to be back in the postseason

I'd like to see them lay off some of the first pitch swinging tonight. All of these bats count, so let's act like it. They seem to be doing it a bit too much lately. But, I sure won't complain if/when it works.

Hinch on MLB Radio right now on Carlos Gomez:
"As of right now, he's in the lineup. But he'll have to answer some questions before the game."
Carter will definitely start. Hinch wants "all of my power in there." So I assume Valbuena at 3B over Lowrie.
Likely Starters (not batting order but could be):
2B Altuve
RF Springer
SS Correa
LF Rasmus
DH Gattis
3B Valbuena
1B Carter
C Castro
CF Gomez

I don't like leaving Kazmir off in favor of Perez. I have zero trust in him.

Yes the Astros have a great farm system....and each and every year the major league teams' record reflects that greatness.
The cubs are another such team....seemingly always competitive...lmao

And one of the guys who Correa drew a comparison to, Rodriguez, did not hold back on his praise, even if he went a tad overboard.
“I think he’s phenomenal, one of the best of all-time,” said Rodriguez. “He’s a historical player, [one] we’re going to see for the next two decades.”

Dallas Keuchel has his best numbers in his career with Eric Cooper behind the plate. 23/2 strikeout to walk ratio in 4 starts. Tends to give Keuchel the low strike which is what DK needs to control game.
