I do not read about half of the threads on the soccer board because they are stupid and barely talk about soccer. I hate all the threads about racism, excessive debates on flopping, nationalism, etc. Stick to talking about soccer.
it was about soccer. i just corrected soembody and called DS the "janeane grafalo" (sp) of the soccer board
then he derps into the exact pattern of behavior a couple hours later, so i had to post it up

Yes he is so accepting that he believes they should be denied the same treatment under the law that he enjoys at a heterosexual
Actually, they have the same treatment. It's just that the laws in place aren't ones they are particularly interested in taking advantage of.
Last time I checked, straight guys weren't allowed to marry men either and gay guys were afforded the option to marry a woman if they so choose.
Thats a pretty important distinction to make when you toss around the word bigot. If a separate code was being applied to gays, then I would think anybody who supported that was a bigot. What actually exists is much more reasonable.

the memes were applicable anyway
memes are the refuge of someone who feels a negative emotional reaction to a post but lacks the articulation to express that feeling. It is an emotional, illogical response.

This is exactly what I was referencing above.

It's a personal belief.
In this country, the goal is not to have the same beliefs, but to respect equal treatment under the law.
His is a personal belief that seeks to have others not receive equal treatment under the law...

huh? no
both of the memes apply to the 2 principal arguments, but done in a succinct, funny, and referential way

That thread was about RVP trying to outdouche Piers Morgan. Not really relevant to soccer unless you mean another thread.
Read the OP and stopped.
Also, I dislike Dandy's threads/posts. Dude is horrible.

Then, he wouldn't be the first. It doesn't give the government the right to change how he feels. That is what Totalitarian dictators do.

all opinions/beliefs are discriminatory by their very nature
Isn't a pro-gay marriage opinion less discriminatory than and anti-gay marriage opinion?
Even if you were to argue that "beliefs" were being discriminated against, at this point, Peterson's belief in in the minority.

ok good
there is a time and place for shirtless pics of Ronaldo, and that's anytime and anywhere

if we're going to boil this down to a binary argument, whichever side you pick is discriminatory towards the other side
that's the nature of choice. choice is a discriminatory behavior
