WNBA season is the perfect time for airing The Ocho.

I was at a restaurant and they had the game on. I was amazed with how poor the play was. I was thinking they would be able to at least hit open 3s with high accuracy but that was NOT the case.

Shawshank would easily pull better ratings.

MSB WNBA threads outnumber WNBA fans.

I tuned into some of that the other night. It's definitely more watchable than WNBA.

Philzilla,

Hate is such a justified emotion to feel towards sports teams.

Bowling with Chris Schenkel used to draw huge ratings back in the 1980s. And I remember watching it. Would watch before girls basketball.

ESPN/Disney really trying to shove the WNBA down everyone's throats these last few weeks

Disney has proven they have no problem losing billions of dollars to groom children and employ pedophiles

They are okay with losing money ramming the WNBA down the throat of a nonexistent audience

Or it is as simple as this is the cost of doing business to get the NBA rights. We all know the ratings probably suck but the NBA will continue to urge networks to push the wnba product.

Okay. Any way improving the product is pretty simple though. Lower the goals and shorten the 3pt line. Essentially make it a similar but different game than the men (ie softball to baseball) that the men don’t play so you can’t see the physical differences as easily.

A relatively good former 5A HS basketball player can watch the WNBA and feel like they are as good as the pros and probably be right.

The Mets-Braves game would have been better. They should show more MLB and less WNBA.
