Much like Boosie, you’re unable to get past your confirmation bias. Sorry about that.

The issue with that tweet is you can't see the opposite angle where Allen's body was in the way. The call by the line and side judge was a 50/50 call, the sideline cam views did not show the ball to overturn due to Allen's body and Jones' head. I absolutely think he made it but the call was extremely close full speed from the sidelines and there was not a view, we were shown, that meets the burden to overturn.

Is the ball in his right or left arm? You can’t tell? Neither can I.
Right. The pic doesn't show it . The view that showed it was from above / sky cam and they only showed it once . Close but he was short, first down Chiefs

I get you’re mad that you can’t see the ball past the first down marker. You just can’t understand why they aren’t operating on assumption and probably.
Maybe just go to bed and try to understand tomorrow?
Don't waste your breath. They want it to be a first down so bad.
Even in the still photo the tip of the ball isn't at the line to gain at that point.

Everyone knew the Bills were never getting that call, lol. That’s what happened.

Didn’t the official expert during the game say it looked like he made it to him after he looked at the replay? Haha, he did say it was a tough call, but thought they made it.

He said he had it by 1/3 length of the football. Complete horseshite call unsurprisingly

Holy frick you can't be that stupid. So if you watch a person walk behind a column you are going to sit there and say that you don't know if he is actually behind the column even though you just watched it happen?
That is not the salient point. There is no way to know exactly where something is behind a column if you can't see any part of it. Allen's body blocks one sideline view and Jones' helmet blocks the other sideline view of the ball. You know it is back there but it is impossible to determine exactly where.

They didn’t even measure it lol

A: we have the overhead view from Skycam. That is why the broadcast ref said he had it as at 1st down by 1/3 of the ball.
B: the ref who saw the play clearly was overruled by the ref who couldn’t see shite.
C: this was a 10 point swing that decided the entire game.
People arguing against either don’t understand forward progress, are Chiefs fans, or don’t want to believe the NFL is dirty.

One thing I learned from this game is that Josh Allen and the Bills have no idea how to run a QB Sneek.
Instead of going low and diving for the 1st, Allen would always go left and generally be upright with no push.
Entire league should study and copy the Eagles' or the Tom Brady Patriots' QB Sneek execution.

They showed sky cam I believe once going to the timeout. It was pretty clear he had the first. Really they got the first twice.

Parallax. The sideline cams are the only straight on view we have.
B: the ref who saw the play clearly was overruled by the ref who couldn’t see shite.
Both sideline cans showed that both the SJ and the LJ had obstructed views, neither could see the BALL. One was obstructed by Allen's body and the other was obstructed by Jone's helmet.
The LJ and SJ have to make a call in real time without the aid of slo-mo and zoom. They made the call from 70-80 feet away with an obstructed view, it is simply a judgment call. To overturn that you need clear and obvious video evidence which simply does not exist at least given what I have seen. The sideline views are obstructed and the overhead view is crippled by parallax. An astrophysicist could sit down with the overhead view and use extremely exacting measurements (not available) and determine where the forward progress of the ball stopped in 3D space, short of this extremely time consuming approach we are left with what we have unless or until all fields and balls are equipped with tracking that is able to track the balls movements exactly and allows for a quick reference to the time in the video feed with time stamps placed when the whistles are blown.
I think Allen made the line to gain by a few inches (less than 6) but with the evidence available to me I don't see how it meets the burden to overturn it. I also can't fault the officials for not coming to the same conclusion in a split second without the multiple zoomed in views I had in slow motion.
There is a skill gap between players and referees. To get better officiating I think it has to be a full time job and has to have pay that draws the best in just like the incentive for players. I don't know what that number is but it appears it needs to be more than it is now.

The spot before that was crap. It was a series of failures.

The top ref was a full foot ahead of the bottom ref and the bottom ref moved it back behind the line.
What’s funny is people are bitching about the top ref with a better view being overruled, but it’s absolutely clear that the top ref’s initial spot was not even close to accurate.

The refs made some very questionable calls, mostly against the Bills. The Chiefs get the benefit of the doubt in all their games. I just don't get it when a runner stretches the ball to extend it over the line to gain and they spot the ball a yard short most of the time. I've seen a lot of cases like that where they give the first down. So what is it? Where the knee goes down or where the ball is extended to?

"It's all real to me dammit"
Watching the replays this morning and seeing many media diehards melt over the blatant cheating is hilarious to me.
The NFL is becoming the NBA at a rapid pace.

Hate to play devils advocate here, but look at the angle of the white line on the field. That is not a straight up and down picture and the angle makes the ball appear further ahead than it likely is.

The refs fricked the Bills about 10 different ways yesterday. All year we've watched the Chiefs and Mahomes get every call. No different last night.
