I believe it's clear and obvious. The official referee consultant that is employed by the NFL and was on the broadcast agreed with me as well.

Cool.

There are millions of people who don’t agree, including several in this very thread.

More than enough to sink your “it’s obvious” argument.

I still don’t actually see it. I just know that Allen is holding the ball and you’re circling Allen’s arms.

No you can see the ball. It's there. I circled it in yellow.

Again, yes you do. It's in the picture.

ETA: This is what is known as “confirmation bias”. Something you can’t seem to get past.

The official referee that is employed by the NFL and was on the broadcast agreed with me. Why is he less credible than the other NFL refs?

The Bills made the line to gain on 3rd down.

Damn I’m sure if we saw that then their coach totally saw it and waited to challenge it before running a hurry up 4th down play that had failed or nearly failed multiple times this very game

Right?

One issue is we put a ton of weight on the original call… when in this case the guy with vision got overruled by a guy who had zero line of sight

And then we require overwhelming proof of where the ball was in the pile to move it when the first guy never even saw it and made up a spot

The real problem is we have technology that could mark the ball to within a centimeter, probably even closer to be honest, on every play and they’re just choosing not to use it.

Where do you think the ball was? Lodged inside of his right ankle or something?

You certainly think so.

I don’t give a shite if the Dalai Lama, Cher and Leonardo Da Vinci agree with you bro.

Its still not clear and is easily up for debate.

4th down was close and will be debated, but it was 3rd down that should be talked about because that was clearly a 1st down.

When was the last time the Chiefs lost due to officiating?

Maybe you’re finally grasping the point!!!!

It’s not clear or obvious for the NFL standards.

I think it was behind a Dlinemen’s helmet where I couldn’t see it. I also think it was short of the line to gain.

The sideline camera makes it impossible to tell

Whatever was called on the field was gonna stand

Not to the one that marked him short.

The one who reviewed and didn’t overturn the call didn’t think it was obvious either.

What about the one that marked him past the line?

What makes him more credible than the other refs?

Do you not consider an NFL ref "NFL standards"?

I haven’t said anyone on either side is more credible than anyone else. In fact, I’ve said in the thread that I won’t say you’re wrong if you think he got it.

The only person trying to say anyone is wrong is, well, you.

He should have been in the booth then. You could have “won” this argument you’ve been trying to win for 4 pages

This is an odd hill to die on. And also a very strange way of telling us all that you're stupid
