That’s the best I’ve seen him play. He beat Medvedev in extended rallies, but also made Meddy pay for his deep court positioning on return with serve and volley. Frances had great touch today.

That match with Alcaraz a few years back was incredible, but this is the best I’ve seen him play in a long time.

Ok. So the interview guy after Andreeva and Potatova just asked Andreeva “I hate to ask you this..” and then proceeded to ask the wrong names of who she would rather play in next match.

I don’t blame the players. They’ve just been balls out for 2-4 hours and focused on the person across from them.
The irony was that he said “I hate to ask you this…” and then asks a prepared question.

It was pretty sloppy but competitive. Andreeva needs to get ahold of some of that weed that was in the stands and mellow out.

As fans of the sport it's almost like we're being cheated out of seeing major championship final clashes and the continuation of what should be the great rivalry between Alcaraz and Sinner. Disappointing not to have Sinner in this tournament and not to have had Alcaraz in the last couple of majors

Hopefully, they're both healthy next year. I feel like Sinner got off easy not having to sit out any grand slams for his drug test issues. I also didn't want to see him pile up slams with Carlos hurt. Not that I want to see him injured, but I'm fine with him sitting out this one. Unfortunately, the top half of the men's draw playing today is so boring.
