Didn’t have that on my bingo card. Hocevar connected on two punches with Blaney after Blaney came up to him pretty hot. Bring on the interviews.

I think the wreck is kinda on both Blaney and Hocevar. I give Hocevar credit. He is not going to back down to no one

I agree. Hocevar is consistent in his racing style since he got into trucks. Blaney should’ve known that and shown some patience, but he didn’t and paid the price. Besides, Blaney was going to pass Hocevar easily in the next corner or two because he was faster so really that defensive move didn’t have to be made right there.

I like Blaney, but I have to admit he looked like a chump starting a fight and then immediately getting the crap beat out of himself.

I didn’t get to watch any of the race, unfortunately. Seems like the ending was pretty entertaining.
I love Hocevar. He has the personality and edge that NASCAR needs.

Blaney ran up and grabbed Hocevar by the fire suit. I guess he thought Hocevar would just stand there and listen. Blaney apparently didn’t anticipate that Hocevar might react by punching him in the face. He didn’t have a good plan on how to handle that. 
I like Blaney, but he came out of this one looking foolish.

Heard about the fight and rewatched it with the fam on youtube. A few takeaways:
1) Blaney came down on the 77. It's not Hocevar's job to lift in that spot.
2) Don't grab/push a guy that has 4-5" of reach on you.
3) My wife now thinks Hocevar is cute (and we're in the AARP demographic).

Lost in everything, the racing sucked for 450 laps. Someone spun (35 I think which helped his teammate) and from that point on it was chaos manufactured from restarts.
And of course Logano is gonna steal another title. The point spread to start chase was too close. 100 pts to 16th and 10 races. So 16th inly needs to make up 10 pts each race which is nothing.
Chase needs to call out Alan. But he’s too nice. Chase realizes with his popularity if he says anything then Alan and HMS would get so much hate mail. So he stays quiet. But thats the problem, if he wanted to win he would be disgusted with car performance and say so. Meaning he is content to just ride around and be happy. Thats on him. He doesn’t have the fighting spirit to win. And because of that he’ll never win another title.

As for the wreck, Blaney did come down. But when Hocevar came down he only did so halfway. He had plenty of room to go another half car lower and not lift. He wrecked him intentionally.
Several drivers don’t like Hocevar. And it will cost him long term. But the fighting will help Nascar get bigger viewer numbers. And Nascar again needs to not penalize or fine anyone. They got a golden ticket handed to them. Will they ruin it by fining? Or let it go?
This could be a springboard moment if Nascar does nothing. That would infer retaliations are coming and that draws in viewers.
Lets see what they do. This is a watershed moment this week. Hoping they do nothing

Was there even a green flag pass for the lead in the first 450 laps? I don’t think so. Second place simply could not pass the leader, but there were passes made in the field.

Anyone else seeing stuff about how Carson allegedly beat women in the past? There’s video of Zane Smith saying something about it at his merch trailer and then this drops. I know it’s all rumors and unsubstantiated at this point but this is from Blaney’s wife.
