Not sure about Brusly’s, but can’t remember seeing bounce like that on all the other turf fields I’ve been to
Brusly coach needs to stack his lineup with hitters swinging top half and give preference to those on the track team. LOL

Schools in Texas about to have 18+ games in 2 weeks. Bizzare how we do it here with arms still not fully ramped

they will be fine, but from what I have seen.....they dont hit very well and they do not run the bases very well but there 1-2 punch on the mound is as good as anyone.
barbe and sam houston ended up 3-1 in the tournament. Bennett school went 4-0, they were pushed hard by Barbe and SH.
really even with all the injuries Barbe beat themselves. SH...just brought in the wrong kid out the Bullpen and should have pulled the starter at the end of the 5th. It was a great early season test for both of them. Barbe has the SPOT tournament this week before the big 2d tournament at the start of march.
the spot tournament has brother martin, Sulphur, Zachary, dutchtown and then teams from texas and Mississippi .
Barbe has South Beau tonight. then the spot tournament where they play
Crowley TX, Zachary, Dutchtown, Brehnam Texas and then they have the big 3 game series against CCA
any of the bayou guys....how has CCA looked?

memorial and bennet school have unreal pitching staffs. Memorial is crazy deep.
Nobody can say the top schools in LA arent challenging themselves in the pre district games. lots of great matchups both in state and out of state.

Surprising that Opelousas Catholic didn't make the list, but I'm sure there's a handful of teams that were on the bubble.
Parkview rightfully fell off. Even though they've outhit the 5A teams they've played on the list and have the potential pitching to be somewhere toward the bottom of the list, they will have to eliminate the free passes (walks, HBP, and errors). There's some talent there, but lacking chemistry.

Romero threw again for Hahnville last night. Pulled after 4 innings right around 80 pitches. Much more conservative approach, score was likely a factor as they were down 5-0.

well its early and they went 2-2 on the weekend and got run ruled by both barbe and bennett but the Beaumont kelly team they beat is a damn good team. They will be fine and will be a top 15 team by end of march
Barbe beat south beau last night 12-0
they play at south beau again tonight then the SPOT tournament I talked about above.

Dutchtown needed a win so I believe they extended Johnson since he was rolling and keeping them off balance. 10k's 1er 1BB.
Helped with dutchtown getting up early on Romero. Romero settled down after the 1st and his offspeed started to work for him well.
