Top players from all those teams would make a stout high school class.

top players from all those teams would create a nationally ranked team by the time they are juniors for sure.

but if you get 5-7 of the top ones...thats big.

2031-Riverdogs are made up of the following High Schools.

4-Sterlington
2-Oak Grove
1-West Monroe
1-Ruston
1-Cedar Creek
1-Ouachita Christian
1-Darbonne Woods

I can confirm, the 2031 Class in Louisiana is very deep! The Shreveport area has some really good players in this class as well.

BM at 7 is high. This is year 1 after all of the Little League World Series kids graduated. Those kids have started for 3-4 years. And, also year 1 without their workhorse on the mound for the last few years, Navarro. They certainly bring back some arms and firepower but they have to replace alot.

They were good last year but the twins are 2030, but they got a couple kids from traction this year, 1 posted about catholic yesterday.

If you could get the twins to hold back and go to catholic…look out. Dunno why they aren’t.

From my understanding they are being held back, but staying at FS….

But… they did mature early, have been bigger/stronger than everyone for a while. How that plays out… idk… hope they continue on that level. Seem like good kids

Puberty is always the equalizer lol

Can confirm they are good kids. Glad they won the battle over hold back as the should be and they need to leave FS though. The hold back thing was the school being pain.

And yea they did honestly and everyone says puberty is equalizer…but I continue to watch the best kids at 12, be the best at 16-18. Maybe not always stay on top but way up there.

And when you can throw the velo they do and hit the exit velo they do… you are already above most hs freshman in that regard at 13. Advancement slows but you are so far ahead…it gets really hard for them to catch up.

Yea I agree… the others make up ground and may pass some, but they usually stay towards the top.

Is the LA 2028 class that strong? I don’t see how the Ott kid at Live Oak isn’t top 20…

I’m not as familiar with the 28 kids not from my area. More 2029 and up

But I do know that class from my area was very good, SH got all of them too. Blessington was long time south lake Charles and catholic school kid, left in 8th. Others came from all over too, multiple kids from Jennings etc.

Yea riverdawgs are very good, wm bulldawgs, gold culture, swamp donkeys are all very good. Knights from Monroe pretty good too.

The stud from riverdawgs is best player in the state imo. Great kid and great family. I think he is the WM kid

Some asked who has the best 27’ Class. That is a hard question to answer. The 27’ class loaded at the top in State. But it’s not strong in BR.
When they were freshman it looked like STA had a great class. But it hasn’t developed that way. I lean toward Central. Catholic’s got better getting Live Oaks best player, but he is the only good position player in that class for them.

Sam’s 28 class is unreal. Catholics 28 is also very good, plus they had a couple good players transfer into that class this year.
Barbe 2028 class maybe the weakest Barbe class ever - but it’s sandwiched between 2 good Barbe classes.

His PBR evaluation from November doesn't lead itself to a top 20 caliber player
7.58 sixty
76 inf velo
88 exit velo

Those are all mostly average numbers for 2028 kid in Louisiana. solid, but not top 20 for sure.
