The 1 hit Live Oak got was a routine pop up and the outfielder tripped. LO didn't get an actual hit.

Rummel plays Hahnville today. Rummel graduated almost everything from last season but I doubt they'll be terrible. Koa Romero is obviously the dude for Hahnville but they have a few other nice players.

I would say Hahnville has the best 2027 class behind Barbe.

Hahnville beats Rummel, 1-0. Romero throws a complete game and hits a homer late.

Romero is insane

But his coach is an idiot. No way you let a kid with that future who throws 90 plus throw 114 pitches in February

Catholic has dominated West Monroe over the past few years ( have beat WM 6 in a row). WM should have a chance to win one with Cupit. He is the real deal.

Sam Houston beat Lafayette Christian 2-0 on the back of the donaldson brothers. Charlie went 2-2 with a homer driving in his brother for the games only runs. Galley went 5 and punched out 10.

saw highlights, if he is hitting his spots I’m not sure he is hittable. That short stroke and the ball just explodes, w run. His offense is well known, but was impressed

My ASH Trojans beat Haughton 7-3 at NSU. Offense was timely. Neighbors from Haughton has a live arm from the left side. ASH pitching was effective w about 12-14 strikeouts.

Dutchtown vs Uhigh showed some great pitching from both sides. Dutchtown gave up 6 unearned runs and Uhigh had timely hits after that. Dutchtown struggled defensively.

Sundstrum looked good with Velo up to 86. Thought he threw harder
Zweingue - gave up some hits but velo was up to 89

Johnson - had a solid outing, defense didn't help. Up to 91

Had a friend who has a boy who plays for St. Thomas More; they lost to Southside 10-5 yesterday. The interesting part though is the starter for Southside, who he said was awesome, threw 116 pitches in 6 and 1/3. But even more amazing than that he was allowed to throw that many pitches, was Southside scored 8 runs in the bottom of the 6th to go up 10-1, and even with the kid sitting around 100 pitches and a 9 run lead, the coach for Southside trotted that kid back out on the mound to throw in the top of the 7th and didnt get him out until he got in trouble. Stuff like that just should not happen.
