And it was Bubba who wrecked Larson. Larson checked up because it looked like Reddick was coming across track in front of him. Bubba didn’t react fast enough.
And once again I hate the GWC. It only robs the real winner. Blaney had this race and Hamlim lucks into a win via GWC. Way past time to do away with it. A car basically wrecked during the race and no caution. Yes, Larson was wrecked and had to throw one just saying no consistency. And drivers work hard last stage only to have it all thrown away by luck.

Fox put NASCAR on FS1 so they could carry LiV golf.

Stage 1 just finished with Larson as the winner.
Just starting stage 2.

Looks like NASCAR and Goodyear did their usual thing and overreacted to the tire wear in last year’s spring Bristol race and made it nearly a non-factor for this year. NASCAR is never going to get it right.

This is without a doubt the worst race of the season

Larson show all day, all weekend really.
I hate these cars by the way.

I realized Kyle Larson looks like Jose Altuve.

Same. They need to go back to a solid rear axle, more HP and a skinnier tire.

Boring race.
In old days there was only bottom line. And you had to root them out to pass and it made for fun times. Lappers would ride the top.
Now its just F1 racing except F1 actually has some passes nowadays and Nascar doesn’t. Reversed roles.
Plus everyone is too nice now. Few would root out the driver ahead of them for fear of upsetting them. Nascar ruined rivalries by too much policing (selective too).
1. HP HP HP
2. Less gooder tires
3. Profit

Bristol used to be a must watch race; the overhead shots of the empty track was not a good look at all

If tweet fails to load, click here. April 8, 1951: NASCAR raced in California for the first time
Among the drivers was Frank Mundy, who rented a car from a local car rental firm, finished 11th, and returned the car at night so no one would notice the worn tires
It cost $21 to rent, and he won $25, a $4 profit

When they re-ground the track to add progressive banking they screwed the place up big time. They need to go back, rip out the pavement and re-pave it back to 36 degrees like it was before the track grind. It is the only way they will get the track back to what it was.
After that they need a car with more hp and less tire to make it exciting again.

What a decrease
Adam Stern

@FS1 got 2.054 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol; no direct comparison to last year because that event was on @FoxTV instead, but the 2024 spring viewership was 3.809 million.
—-
Motorsports viewership in the U.S. last weekend:
1) NASCAR Cup (FS1): 2.054 million
2) F1 (ESPN2): 1.277 million
3) NASCAR Xfinity (The CW): 1.001 million
4) IndyCar (Fox): 552,000
5) NASCAR Trucks (FS1): 498,000
6) NHRA (FS1): 418,000
7) IMSA (USA Network): 81,000
