This will be an unpopular opinion to some but Elliot has become the 3rd best Hendricks driver over the last two seasons.

I don’t disagree and that shows how good the Hendrick drivers are when he’s third.

Bell gets the lead after green flag pit stops. Byron waited a little too long to pit. Now we’ll see if he can pass Bell. Boring Bell vs. Boring Byron.
EDIT: Actually Reddick is in the lead after pit stops, but his tires are a little older than those of Bell and Byron.

Reddick is in the driver’s seat of this race (no pun intended). Byron’s crew chief choked this one away by keeping Byron out too long on the last round of green flag pit stops. Now that Byron is back in traffic, his car isn’t driving as well as it was when he was in the lead all day.
