Isn't Max basically the king with rain? Dude just is so consistent no matter what the conditions are.

Ocon excluded from qualifying due to a failed rear wing test.

I had to leave right after the 4th red flag and the Q3 results have me flabbergasted.

Is this a race where the only place to pass is in the pit lane?

Qualy was too early to watch live so I just finished watching the replay on F1TV. The availability of "live" timing and the radio messages really makes it feel like it's live. Boy that was the most ridiculous qualy session I've ever seen. So many comments to make.
Albon was the first guy to mess up our predictions.
How does Colapinto still have a job? That was the most pathetic amateurish crash ever. Distracted by seeing his teammate in the runoff area.
Hamilton probably made a mistake sticking with softs. I think there were a lot of complaints about the softs and keeping them in the temperature window.
Leclerc seemed a bit shaky all weekend. I was kind of expecting him to crash again.
Both McLarens were shaky all weekend as well. But when Oscar choked, that was a great opportunity for Lando... who ended qualifying just two places ahead of Oscar.
I was rooting for Carlos to hang on, but Max is just unbelievably good.
Lawson set his fast lap on the last lap, not before the rain, so he did a great job.Things are looking bad for Yuki. Hadjar has a podium and Lawson now has a P3 qualy. Yuki badly needs a highlight. He's got nothing so far. His best performances were in the first two races when he was in the VCARB. Ancient history.

What a wild arse qualifying. I’ve always kind of liked Baku.
Lando’s last lap looked ragged and you’d think he’d be faster than what he was. Crazy.
Ferrari…

Was a crazy session. I was hoping Sainz would put his nose in the wall there at the end to spoil Maxs lap and steal a pole position ha

It's one of those tracks that is boring more times than it's not, but 1 out of 3 races is going to be awesome because of something out of the ordinary.

I'd post the chef shooting himself in the head with pasta meme, but it's not really a meme anymore. It's real life.

I'm going on record for a mechanical failure for Sainz tomorrow. I don't want it, but that's what's going to happen.

Man I hope not.
And yes, that’s exactly what I meant by just saying Ferrari. It should be a :Ferrari: embed thing at this point.

I'm going to predict that Norris will not take full advantage of this. It is the most Norris thing to do.

Yeah, my money is on Norris DNFing due to stupidity at some point.

Didn't have Yuki passing George Russell on the track in my crystal ball today.

Was Oscar drunk this weekend? W T F

Early in the race I noticed that George had the pace to get to the podium, but I thought he'd be P3, not P2. Nice job Sainz getting a podium before Alex.
Considering all the crashes this weekend, it was impressive watching the Lawson-Tsunoda-Norris-Hamilton train. They were all focused on each other while driving extremely precisely to stay off the walls.
