Seeing that #3 made me think the ghost of Dale Sr was back behind that wheel. Dale would have done the same thing if put in that same situation.

Sounded like Joey has forgotten about Matt Kenseth.
ETA: when he punted Kenseth at Autoclub or Michigan. Matty had the last word at Martinsville

I’ve seen Logano run over people before for position. I remember him punting William Byron into the wall for the win at Darlington a couple of years ago.

That wasnt a move someone or make a path though, that was a run it too deep with the only intent being taking out the leader and then right hooking the guy behind you. I know theyve all moved someone and even wrecked someone but two guys in one lap with the only intent being to wreck them...thats just not a good look. Its exciting, but thats not Intimidator cage rattling...that was short track guys getting arrested in the pits when they go to have a talk and the track banning a guy for a few races stunt. Hope RCR has a dedicated watch holder because hes gonna have quite a few wrecked racecars before the season wraps up.

Dale would be laughing his arse off at the Logano and Hamlin interviews - I'm pretty sure Richard is

NASCAR has set the precedent. If you are running 2nd on the last lap, just wreck the leader. It's perfectly OK to do so. They need to start doing it every week. We would see how quick NASCAR would change their views and start penalizing drivers.

Well, whatever your thoughts/feelings are on Dillon’s victory, I think we can all agree that this was the most entertainment we’ve gotten out of Richmond Raceway in some time.

Joey was a brat back then.

The smirk on RC'S face as he was getting out of his chair in his suite after the race says it all.
He loved every second of it.

I made the mistake of turning on post-race on SiriusXM, and the first caller said he didn't care about the finish, but wanted to talk about how confusing the different tires were.

It's called the "Action Track" for a reason.

That’s an ARCA level finish.

I was a little hard on you earlier.
Joey is right, it was a chicken shite move by Dillon. My point, and I didn't clarify it, was we have all been wanting some action and high drama in this series for a while and we finally got it. And when we finally get it we complain about it. Whether we agree w/Dillon's move or not(most don't), we can all agree that we got some much needed/wanted drama to end a race and we should all be thankful for at least that much.

My thing on GWCs is most have been controversial this year. Whether it’s Indy, Nashville, now Richmond… why not just call it at the finish?
We had a cup level race with an arca level finish. That finish just left me shaking my head. I don’t care for Dillon, Logano, or Hamlin… but that finish was terrible.

I loved it and hated it all at the same time. That was pure cinema and NASCAR needed it. Chicken shite to the fullest but it’s RUBBIN. I just love seeing the 3 in victory lane…
