What a clusterfrick
Wasted over 40 minutes to start race
Wasted over 30 minutes to run laps before stage 1 ended. Why not pit them before the stage ends? Because after stage ended they run another lap. And then finally pit them. And then take forever to restart.
And of course all the time wasted when they go green its flooding rain. And of course an idiot takes out SVG.
And whats with all the Bubba/23x press? He has done nothing in Nascar except waste a seat and waste TV time. He’s like Creed and Dugan in Xfinity, wasted seats. Put Algier in his seat and he’d do better.
And I’ve been preaching about tires that wear faster and bigger engines. Been saying it all year. We had a race early season that tires had to be managed and it was a great race.
Nascar has completely mismanaged this race. How many actual green flag laps so far? Been a big arse parade. And now we have 1 hour left. How much will be wasted on yellow parades?

Only thing missing with all this mess today was lightning and I guess we can be thankful for that.

I love the idea of a street race. I think I have mentioned here before, if I had a genie’s lamp and could make anything happen, my wild hair dream would be to conjure up the big cars of the 1970s and transport them to the old long course (14 miles) at the Nurburgring in Germany and channel the old moonshine running days.

I think NASCAR messed this up with the later start. And race should’ve been red flagged after stage 1. Briscoe driving over his head is normal at this point. SVG is an innocent bystander taken out by ineptness. He may not have won but he was making a damn strong case.
If a race track doesn’t have lights, then the race shouldn’t start later than 1 pm. Period.

It’s obvious they want Ty Gibbs to win it. I would love nothing more than for them to throw the green and he gets dumped or overruns the first corner.
