My bad. Had you mixed up with the guy from earlier who said "veered left."

Perez moved a half body width to the left which gave sainz plenty of room.

Sainz said he was moving to the racing line, which being in front, he should... Perez could have paid more attention being behind and able to see what was going on.

Nobodies fault, a racing incident, but to blame Sainz is stupid.

Finally watched the race, and the replay. Two things I see... Sainz checks his mirror to see where Checo is right at the crash. This could be classic steering into a mirror where you subconsciously turn the direction you look. The other thing I see is that Sainz might not have VEERED into Checo but he was likely POINTED into Checo's racing line after the turn.

I see it as racing incident.

However, I would be steaming if I were Christian Horner because a bit of defensive driving by Checo, and they come out of the race weekend with a very different Constructor's Championship points situation.

It's how I watch every race. Great to have 2 tv feeds plus all the onboards and team radio.

Unless a miracle happens, RB isn't winning CC this season.

Agree, think that ship is quickly sailing.

Had RB had a solid #2 first part of the year, maybe they would have had enough points banked to squeek through, but nope.

I think Max will hold off and win drivers, he has a big enough lead at this point, but Piastri coming quick for 2/3. Only 13 back of Lecler and 32 back of Lando.

I htink it's going to be McLaren and Ferrari in the 1 and 2 spots in constructors.

Wild. One season removed from the most dominant driver season ever and the team could finish third. Honestly didn't think that would be possible so soon.

If true, then Marko was right (he said several times that Liam would race this year). It seemed like people weren't taking him seriously anymore. I guess he's going to announce that the "shareholders" demanded it.

RB going with a special livery while Red Bull is cancelling a special livery because they think the extra weight will cost them time. RB isn’t even pretending to try to win. I don’t think the denim looks particularly good either

No, it looks pretty ridiculous. It’s working as an advert for I’m guessing HUGO?

It's been fun the last several races. Should be a great finish.

I don't know if NOR can catch VER in the WDC, but I think McLaren wins WCC.

OK, this is a little late, but here's what happened last weekend in the WDC and WCC.

1. Finally, and as expected for the last few weeks, McLaren has taken the WCC lead over Red Bull and is expected to keep and expand that lead.
2. Williams has risen one place to P8 over Alpine, and could challenge Haas and VCARB in the coming weeks as well.

3. In the WDC Russell has finally passed Perez for P7, although they are tied on points at the moment.
4. Albon has rocketed up from P17 to P13, and could challenge Tsunoda, Hulkenberg, and Stroll if Williams has improved at more than just going fast in a straight line.
5. Colapinto has scored points in just his second race, after Sargeant failed to score at all in 15 races in this car. He rose from P21 to P19, but can easily rise several more places with a few more points-scoring finishes.

In the TD prediction rankings, Pitt Road and VABuckeye are in the top two positions for the fifth race in a row, but Lebowski has risen from P5 to a podium position! sorantable jumped from P12 to P5. I personally jumped from P10 to P6. Tornado Alley dropped from P6 to P12.

Still plenty of movement in the WDC and WCC to come with seven races left!

Also note, after the Singapore race this weekend, there is another ONE MONTH gap to the next race at Austin. In addition to the Summer break, they are taking a Fall break as well. Although this break will be a lot more tolerable now that football season is in full swing.
