I'm curious if Newey will question Daddy Stroll on Lance's position in the team. I just don't see how they can seriously chase a world championship with Lance as a driver.

Does he get too involved with the drivers? Seems like he only deals with the car and the technical stuff. I’m sure Aston having a new wind tunnel of their own mattered more than window licker was the #2 driver.

Article implies Lance would get dropped from the F1 team if they could sign Max.

Lance would probably end up in the Aston Martin WEC team.

Its coming... RB is on a downward spiral.

Max should have either signed with Merc or intends to go to AM with Newey and Honda.

Just hope Newey has enough time to get that car up and running.

Just started the Schumacher doc on Netflix. Wish I had the Hulu Brawn doc but this may work for today. Any other recommendations?

Haas also has to answer to shareholders too much because their owner can’t afford to own the team

Got a link for that?

*Gene Haas is the sole owner of Haas Automation and Haas F1.

Replacing the window licker w/ a 3 (possibly 4 time) champ.

RPM would be orgasmic

Both of those are great... If you can find Senna anywhere, that is my favorite of all 3, but believe all streaming pulled it and only available for purchase.

I’ve seen Senna for sure.

If there are any LeMans or Nurburgring type ones I’d watch them too.
Nothing else to do today.

Ok, I misspoke. I will amend my comment. I meant to say sponsors. He is very beholden to sponsors. Look at Mazepin.

Watch Steve McQueen's movie. You get to watch the coolest dude of all-time as the lead with no disrespect intended to Charles Bronson.

ETA: Rush and Grand Prix are good but I like Rush more. There was also a documentary on the WIlliams family IIRC.

ETA again: There's a new Netflix documentary on Senna due to come out on November 29th if I read it right.

“We [will] bias our support to Lando. But we want to do it without too much compromise on our principles.

“What we don’t want to see any more is a situation like in Monza, in which we enter a chicane 1-2 and we exit 1-3. Because that is a detriment to the team.

“Even when I said to Oscar – ‘Would you be available to give up a victory?’ He said – ‘It’s painful, but if it’s the right thing to do now, I will do it.”

Nope, don't like... Let them race.

This is a fricking coward comment.. If you're going to "prioritise" Lando, just tell everyone he is your number one driver.

Sucks for Piastri but and I agree let them race

the only thing that would validate this decision is Norris winning the WDC

Of course they shouldn’t have their drivers dive bombing each other with the constructors in reach.

Disagree. The drivers are employed by the team, and the team benefits from winning both the WDC and the WCC. Lando created a substantial separation from Oscar early in the season, and now has a chance at the WDC. He should absolutely be favored, starting a few races ago.

OK I agree with you here. McLaren is making things muddy by not just declaring Lando the #1 driver for the rest of the season. Someone was suggesting it might be a contractual thing?

You may want to check out WEC's youtube series Full Access. Not really a documentary. More like behind the scenes for each race.

The Frank Williams doc is really good: Williams

Both 1 and The Killer Years are interesting docs focused around crashes and safety.
