Which one or both of the Haas cars were basically just dive bombing the corners and using the outside guy to turn in the whole time it seemed?

If Mag is suspended can they use someone else to race the car?

RB only up by 8 on Mclarwn and 39 on Ferrari now.

It’s gonna get spicy.

I really wonder what happened but can speculate several options (and it may be a combo):

1. Checko wrecking in May 2023 Monaco allowed all teams to see RB undercarriage.

2. RB internal turmoil to start season.

3. Someone at RB leaking out critical info

4. Someone at F1 leaking out critical info (F1 is US owned I think)

RB had suck a massive advantage and no matter how much a team works, with restrictions on time allowed and other things it seems impossible for 1 team to gain so much during the season, let alone at least 3 teams. No way all these teams just figured out RB all on their own. US owned and they care about ratings to grow the sport with 3 US races. I would not out it past some major cheating to have gone on.

It would stand to reason even if other teams gained during year so would RB which would still give them the edge. Something is fishy here and when it finally comes out it won’t be good for the sport imo. Its great to have closer races but at what expense did it happen, and who leaked info? That stuff doesn’t stay secret forever.

Red Bull went from regularly having the fastest straight line speed to the slowest.

Checo shitting the bed after first two races of this season.

Didn’t build in enough of a gap to deal with Max not taking 1 every race.

Some of the rear wings were so pencil thin and non-existent with DRS open you almost couldn’t see them on TV at times. Red Bulls were a little more substantial.

This is a huge part of it I think.

Depends which teams you are talking about
Mclaren already changed their floor and all other upgrades were tailored around that.
They also had a large advantage in wind tunnel time which becomes huge when a change in design actually delivers large gains.
They had huge development momentum going into this season.

La Pista Magica + Dark Charles = church bells ringing in Maranello and la gioia dei Tifosi. Bella macchina oggi. Forza Ferrari!

Didn't he take a penalty for a new ICU a few races back? Is he in trouble of needing another?

Nice thought. We can surely hope.

I heard someone mention (here, I think) that Lando was looking at having to take one also.

Or maybe we don't hope.

The Max and RB hate is dumb.

Bearman won both the sprint race and feature race at Baku in F2 last year

I think a lot of the hate for Max is dumb, but nothing wrong with wishing for some turnover and Mclaren to come out on top this year.

I don't think anyone wants to see another 8 yrs prior to RB taking back the crown ever again.

It's great as a fan of racing to go into a weekend and have no clue who is going to win each week among multiple drivers and teams.
I also like to see the talent of a driver who had a dominant car get pulled back into the pack to see can they outperform with a lesser car.

3 teams with a real chance to win the constructors .
Only 18 months left to enjoy it until it all gets blown up again.
And next year we get to throw in a bunch of rookies to spice things up

But on is complaining about McLaren and how they are treating Lando… trying to protect his fellow Brit

Don’t know if there’s a more insufferable commentator than him… well besides Danica
