Newey said in am interview last week that he reached an agreement with Red Bull to continue working on the hypercar through the end of 2025 or until it's complete. He then said that he hasn't made up his mind on F1 for 2025 yet, but knows he has to make a decision on if he will sign with another team going into autumn.
I really, really hope that if he announces he's going to another F1 team next year that Red Bull immediately tells him to pack sand on the hypercar. If he stays out of F1 that would be fine, but you don't get to Kick RB in the nuts by going to another team and still get to keep your baby too.

As cool as the car is, it’s a track-day-special only Hypercar. No big deal. Unless some show or some of these billionaires get together and put on a race or race series for them all to compete against each other you could tell me it can fly to the moon and it wouldn’t matter much.

Should be a good weekend. Old school tight track with a few banked curves. Weather is showing rain Friday and Saturday, Overcast with temps in the. 50s and 60s Sunday.
