Max reminds me of Senna, who felt it was his divine right, his manifest destiny, to always be in P1. It was an insult for anyone to dare be in front of him.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Max in the same position as Norris doesn't crash and takes the spot.
*The tweet has today's move as well if you look at it on twitter.

After 11 rounds, changes in the championship standings:
WDC: Hulkenberg rises two places to P12 while Ricciardo and Bearman drop one place each. Also Magnussen rises two places to P16, while Ocon and Albon drop one place each.
WCC: Haas has strongly reclaimed P7 in the championship after losing it for just one week. Haas outscored Alpine 12-1 to take 10 point lead over Alpine and close the gap to VCARB to 11 points after VCARB scored just 2 points.
In the Prediction Rankings, VABuckeye has claimed P1 for the 2nd time, swapping places with Tornado Alley. VABuckeye ranking Perez at P7 seems prescient as it looks like Perez will be in P7 in the next race or two. ApexHunterNetcode maintains P3. MikeD is making a comeback, rising from P7 to P4, and iwyLSUiwy has jumped from P9 to P5.

Yeah he knew Lando had a 5 second penalty but there was no way he was going to let Lando cross the finish line ahead of him.

Was that confirmed? I thought at that point the penalty was just assumed. I could have easily seen the stewards letting it go.

Norris' penalty wasn't announced until they were driving back to the pits on three tires.

Let's talk about Danny Ric's fate (yet again). Danny has scored in a grand prix for just the 2nd time this season (vs Yuki scoring at five grands prix so far). However, Danny has beaten Yuki three races in a row now. This is the consistency that was missing in Danny's first 15 races with the team. There are three more races before summer break. If Danny beats Yuki in maybe two out of the next three races, he will have a strong argument that he should keep his seat and finish the season, especially considering that Perez is floundering badly and Horner would still be happy to see Danny shine so he can put him back in the Red Bull seat. Yes, Perez has a contract but does it guarantee him a seat at Red Bull, or just in one of the four available Red Bull-associated seats?
At least I think Danny is starting to make it difficult for Red Bull to replace him with Lawson this season.
Edit: Will Buxton on the grid was rumor mongering that Danny was in talks with Williams for next year.

As for Hamilton, I was listening to the post race show today on Siriusxm and they stated that Hamilton himself stated that he does not expect to beat Russell in qualifying the rest of the year. Said that Mercedes is starting to lock him out on information and other things, and he completely understands and says he will still try to win.
Could all be BS, but what they stated.
Also, post show spent a lot of time about Alonso not being there...said his run into Zhou was just lazy. Said it will be interesting to see if Aston Martin can keep him focused rest of the year.

Ric hasn't shown much this year, but saying that I'd bet money he would be doing better in the second RB right now than Perez.
Hell, Yuki "Retard" Tsunoda would as well.

That's pretty standard from what I understand.
Frankly, I hope Haas doesn't do the same with Hulk as he's easily their better driver and they need the points.

Concerning Norris' penalty; He didn't serve it, and didn't finish the race, so he should get a grid drop next week, right?
eta-I see that he was classified at the end so the penalty was "added" to his time.

I think it would be different it Merc were in the race for constructors, but they aren't. No need to actively sabatoge Hamilton but I don't blame them if they prioritize Russell.

Good chance perez will drop to 7th after Silverstone next week.
Piastri and Russell only 6 and 7 points behind now.
The fight for 3rd is going to be interesting with Piastri and Russell now only 39 points behind.
Yuki with a fat donut since re-signing. Ric slowly closing the gap but likely to back up with a stinker next week. He's never set the track alight at Silverstone.
Good to see redbull choke.
From the bad pit stop everything went to shite fast.

Nice view of the incident showing Max go right then left.
Now, part of me doesn't agree with the rule of moving in the braking zone, but I'm also not driving a car at 200 mph, so my opinion doesn't mean shite. I get why they have the rule.

Finally finishing the race after it was lightly spoiled during my brunch earlier today.
Main commentator was not very good. Don’t know if it was his first time or what but he screwed up a few times early.
Max was complaining of some issues before the slow stop and even his slow stop was only 3 seconds slower than Landos. He should have come out with 4 seconds lead and disappeared again if there wasn’t something else wrong or going on right?
