I coulda sworn Red Bull said VCARB will no longer be considered a junior team. So either Marko's short-term memory is gone, or they really do still consider it a junior team and he said it out loud.

It’s this one, and it’s pretty obvious.

I'd like to see Lawson in the seat at the halfway point (after Silverstone on July 7). I don't think it's fair to Danny Ric to just say that the seat is Lawson's. With Yuki as the point of reference, they should give Lawson the 2nd half of the season to win the 2025 seat. I fully expect Lawson to do much better vs Yuki than Danny, but I want to see it play out.
The big problem with this approach is that all the other seats may be gone by the time they make a decision. Lawson has a chance to sign with another team if he's dropped by Red Bull, but they would need to decide not-too-late in the season.

Just shows they are not serious...I feel for Alonso

This just proves that despite the words coming out of Papa's mouth, Aston is not serious about winning and is content with midfield.

The window licker re-signing is least surprising news yet...
F1 IG is an absolute roast. Not 1 positive comment through the dozens I scrolled through.

This is pretty much putting out the bat signal for Rocket Powered Mohawk.

How did Honda and Aramco agree to be part of this shite show?
I really thought Honda signing up meant that Lance would be gone by 2026.

Some talk today about Carlos Sainz joining Alpine.

Netflix had a second crew at the race last week because there was supposed to be "big news" and insiders were saying it was Sainz to Williams, but it never came to fruition.
Hard to believe he didn't get picked up by RB or Merc... Guess they don't want a 1yr deal since he is rumored for Audi in 26

Supposedly Alpines offer includes a release clause that could let him leave after only one year.

Think I’d rather go to Williams. Renault is already under investing in the team, and by 2026 they won’t even be making their own engines. Plus Vowles is more stable leadership than whatever is going on at Alpine. I honestly don’t know who runs the team.

I was thinking Alpine dropping their Renault engines for Mercedes engines would be the main selling point for Sainz to go there. I guess Williams has Mercedes engines also tho.

I'd rather go to Williams, too. Williams can only go up from here, and I think in a year or two they will. You're not going to win at either place, so pick the one that's going to be more fun and offers a decent paycheck. I can't imagine Alpine being fun at all. It's a damn soap opera on it's best day.

They could make these Sprint weekends a lot more compelling if they let teams adjust their setups between the Sprint race and GP Qualifying.
