Who knows what happened but I thought the most interesting part of a story I read was that Horner could “counter-sue” depending on the outcome of the investigation. He either did something real dumb and he’d be gone by now or what? someone got their feelings hurt or creeped out and went to Red Bull HQ and has to live with the outcome of that investigation?

Apparently the hearing was postponed until next week.

Sky Sports just tweeted out that the meeting with Horner is happening today (still ongoing) in a secret London location.

Such a weird situation. The rumor mill seems to be back to emphasizing this controlling management of a woman thing instead of the inappropriate behavior with a female.

How can he be held accountable for that? He's not qualified to know that she was, in fact, a woman.

“Controlling and coercive behavior”

Sounds like what every sports team owner/manager does.

?? | The conversation between Christian Horner and a specialized lawyer has ended in the early evening.

It started in the morning and lasted hours.

The meeting happened at an undisclosed location in London, after initially intending to hold it at the factory in Milton Keynes.

Horner has so far not indicated internally for a moment that he himself wants to resign.

Probably just Toto meddling to get back at Horner for meddling in the Susie drama a few months ago. At least thats the conspiracy theory I'm choosing to believe

They are going to force him out next week before testing starts. It's bullshite, but it is what it is. He'll likely sue RBR and in a year or two win a massive settlement, but it's a price RBR is willing to pay to protect their public image.

The only real question is how the domino's fall. I think there's a good 50/50 chance Newey quits if they force out Horner.the rails could come off pretty quick at that point.

The real unknown right now is how Max feels about everything right now. Him and Horner have always appeared close.

They really can’t give much of a frick about their image after keeping Darth Helmut around for so long.

If they boot Racey, I hope Newey bails with him just because that’s the kinda of drama F1 has been missing for a few years. The RBR implosion would be fun to watch, especially all the DTS Max fans that don’t even have the Yankees, Bama etc to pull for anymore. Could be a devastating time for them.

One rumor I read was it went on for over 8 hours. Hard to imagine it is just a micromanaging overzealous boss situation but stranger things have happened.

LW ask if Horner and Newey are close, as I have understood it they have a very close working relationship that appears to have become a true friendship. The rumor mill suggests that has cooled over this but that is nothing but rumor and typical for F1.

Seems too long if it was just a sexual harassment type thing. I'd defer it to being overzealous boss and tons and tons of examples.

But again, if this is the case, EVERY owner/manager/coach is that way. So why this?

Understated, elegant, and boring for a race car. At least it's mostly color (although there still does appear to be a significant amount of bare CF), and the lines aren't broken up like the Alpine, RB, etc.
