I'm for the Mustang in the GT3 category. Simply because I've been driving it a lot in Assetto Corsa Competizione and it's hella fun to drive.

Is there a free official stream of it?
Or on motortrend or something like that?

It’s on Motortrend and HBO Max.

That GTD mustang is ridiculous.
Only thing I don’t understand is why ford and all the magazines are comparing it to the GT3 RS. Seems like if there was a N/A 5.2 what was it called voodoo? GTD that would compare with the GT3 RS and this 800 hp supercharged one should be compared to the GT2 RS.

Thanks. Was jumping through hoops and DL apps and remembered that motortrend is just a channel on YouTubeTV.

Yeah, the GTD is amazing. I'd love for it to show up today and tomorrow and show the Euro/Japanese car manufactures what's up.

Looks as big as the mocked Big M8 from previous years.

Peugeot still awful, even with the wing.

hyper category
The Hypercar category has brought the interest back to the front end of the endurance field. Bringing Ferrari back to the top class has been good for the sport.
I really would like to see a year where Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Ford and Chevrolet were all there and all of them actually tried to win with works teams.

I was wondering if any current F1 drivers were entered at Le Mans, and it looks like it's none. The link below is to a list of former F1 drivers who are driving this weekend. I believe Nyck de Vries is the most recent ex-F1 driver in the race, in the #7 Toyota.
motorsport.com/lemans/news/former-f1-drivers-le-mans-24-hours/10623558/
I believe the last full-time F1 driver to compete at Le Mans was Nico Hulkenberg, who won the 2015 Le Mans race in the Porsche 919 with Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber. Hulk finished P10 in F1 that year for Force India.
I also looked up active IndyCar drivers who are in the race. Alex Palou, Scott Dixon, and Romain Grosjean are in the Hypercar class (as well as IndyCar part-timer Callum Illot who is in WEC this year).
So why is it so rare for active F1 drivers to enter Le Mans? Active IndyCar drivers flock to the Daytona 24 hrs race, and a few do Le Mans.
Whoa, Valentino Rossi is in the race. Didn't know that.

Giovinazzi and Kvyat are in the race as former F1 drivers.

Grosjean is racing as well

Just saw a video of Nyck rearending his manufacturing teamates car for no apparent reason.

Missed that but Jensen Button was racing as well. Ton of former F1 drivers out there.

De Vries finishes in 2nd and on the podium at Le Mans and in the #7 Toyota!

Amazing that after 24 hours and 311 laps, there's only a 14 second difference between 1st and 2nd.
