Umm, did anyone mention that Sainz finished P4 and Perez finished P5, but Sainz received a post-race 5-second penalty, so the final race standings has Perez in P4 and Sainz in P5. Perez still crossed the line P5; he sucks.

formula1.com/en/latest/article/sainz-hit-with-five-second-time-penalty-after-collision-with-piastri

With the penalty, Sainz also almost fell behind Hamilton, but he ended up beating him on time by just a tenth of a second (Sainz +16.407s, Hamilton +16.585s)!

Sainz was being a twat yesterday. Thinks he is Lewis Hamilton all of a sudden. He must really hate Oscar. He was talking shite about him while Oscar was standing behind him post race. Hope Oscar gets him back at some point this season.

Oscar had a great race despite his position, just very poor luck. Love how McLaren is developing and progressing early in the season rather than in the end of the season like last year.

Carlos was a bit whiny yesterday. Or at least it seemed that way from ABC's coverage.

When the team has to tell to focus and stop bitching then it’s safe to say you are being whiny

I think his psyche is a little messed up right now.

He's arguably better than or equal to Leclerc, yet gets the shaft by Ferrari.

And his previous team just won a race and moving forward.

Meanwhile, he doesn't have a ride next year.

And then, instead of being patient, he, after being thwarted by Piastri several times, took a desperate move to pass him which resulted in damage to Piastri's car and a post-race penalty to Sainz.

Wasn’t able to watch the race live and had to watch the recording last night.

So glad I was able to avoid spoilers yesterday afternoon. Would have sucked to learn Lando got his first win by a stray ESPN notification or just opening instagram.

Miami actually put on a decent race this year, even if it would have just been an easy Max victory like it was looking for the first half.

You can thank the hometown hero Logan Sargeant and his safety car for that. But if we're being srs, Magnussen caused that crash.

Perez nearly took out himself, Max, Piastri and Leclerc on Turn 1 at the beginning of the race. He is talented, but makes so many mistakes.

I am so happy that F1 gives us Kick Sauber instead of Andretti Racing. It would have been such a huge drag on F1 to have brought in those slackers!

In the TD F1 prediction rankings, MikeD is in P1 for the 6th race in a row. He's our own version of Max. kengel2 is in P2 for the 3rd race in a row. But after that, iwyLSUiwy has shot up to a podium position in P3, and Tornado Alley has shot up to P4.

Just now getting to post. Super happy for Lando. He's obviously one of/the most likeable guy on the grid with his peers. Almost every driver walked out to congratulate him. Well deserved win.

Odd penalty. Feel like Piatsri was more at fault there than Sainz. He was definitely complaining more than normal yesterday, but I think he was probably frustrated from the get go seeing as on lap one he gets to P2 and Checco comes flying in on a straight line and almost caused a Nascar pile up. Plus he pits one lap before the yellow flag. Overall a decent finish but it probably was a frustrating drive.

I'm coming for ya baby!

I think you're still solid but I think possibly having Alpine last might hurt as much as well. As bad as they were at the beginning of the season, I just can't see them staying behind Sauber and Haas. And probably even Williams at this point, who have been the biggest disappointment for me. I think I only put them at 7th, but I was hoping they'd prove me wrong and up up and it just doesn't look like they will. Add to the fact that they have the worst driver on the grid in one of their seats.

Me too, even though he was a whiny Karen yesterday. I guess everyone is entitled to an off-day from time-to-time.

I picked him to come in 2nd in the WDC. Had he not missed Bahrain due to appendicitis, I may have gotten that right, especially given that I expect Ferrari to roll out some upgrades for later in the season.

I'm a die hard RB fan and I kinda wished it would have happened just to see if they would have shite canned him on the spot
